'Melting away' explores the theme of melting snow, inspired by Yichen's hometown memories. Within the concept of melting lies optimism and hope, as the whiteness unveils the vibrant hues of nature. This collection captures the poetics and sensitivity inherent in the perpetual cycle of natural transition and its profound effects on our emotional being. Through layering of sheer fabrics and colors, Yichen captures the essence of snow's emptiness and ethereality, accentuated by the interplay of light. The fluidity of melting is expressed through soft sculptural silhouettes and draping of fabrics.
