This project is on Hainan, known for its long coastline and lush vegetation. The aim is to design a space that serves as a spiritual destination, resembling an island gathering place that welcomes diverse visitors. Inside, wooden grids and strip windows are used to regulate sunlight and minimize the disruption caused by columns and frames. To provide a nature-inspired experience, local tribal craftsmanship like axing logs and rocks is incorporated, enhancing the natural simplicity embedded in the architecture and space.
