As a renovation project for a couple with interests in Chinese Calligraphy and Guzheng.
As an existing 3-bedroom apartment, it was decided to expand the study and eliminate one of the bedrooms, this allows for abundance of spaces for the practicing and teaching of Guzheng without disturbing the other areas of the apartment.
The corridor has been transformed into a striking, widening space with ample amounts of storage, with a display area at eye level.
The primary material was Birch Veneered Plywood, it was chosen for its versatility in strength, stability and elegance.
