Tiziana Lorenzelli was born in Lecco, Italy, in 1961, where she actually works and lives. Registered architect trained at Milan’s Polytechnic, she graduated magna cum laude at Milan Polytechnic in 1984, where she started teaching assistance to Prof. Marco Zanuso. Architect and designer, has been professor of Industrial Design at the Milan Polytechnic since 1997.She has taught Industrial Design at U.C.L.A. , University of Cincinnati and at the Art Center College of Design of Pasadena and Europe, lecturing at Sci Arc Switzerland and Technion in Haifa. A freelance journalist, she is the author of essays on design and architecture for magazines like Abitare, Domus, Interni and Ottagono. Author of book on architecture and design, she makes research and books about naval construction for Costa Crociere. Since many years she works as industrial designer, and some of her products are patented. Her projects have been winner and mentioned in different competitions: among them she won the first prize Green Living 2010 by Whirpool and Elmar and the first prize of MYDA 2009 by Seatec.
