Swiss born Dominic Symons studied product design at the renowned Art Center College of Design in both Switzerland and California, graduating in Pasadena in 1996. After three years with an architecture firm in San Francisco he launched the BlueLounge Design product and graphic design studio in Los Angeles, in partnership with Melissa Sunjaya, graphic designer. He quickly gained international recognition with many publications, exhibitions, commissions, patents and prizes for furniture, footwear, eyewear and ergonomic products. Notable and award winning designs were commissioned by Microsoft, Panasonic, Trina Turk, MaxDesign (Dom can you complete this and put it in a good sequence?) Since 2005 Dominic has transformed & expanded the design studio into a brand name, designing, manufacturing and distributing consumer products focusing on inspirational everyday consume objects.
