Two-story suite with a terrace

A couple was dreaming of a modern apartment with the spirit of old Moscow. We took the two cornerstones of different epochs’ interiors: before the Revolution, it was a tiled stove, and today it’s a futuristic gray kitchen. Together with an off-white stove, they formthe center of attraction of this home. The spiral staircase is one of the key architectural elements of the residence, designed by the project team. Through panoramic windows on the first floor, you can see a spacious terrace with plants and comfortable furniture, a nice place to spend a warm evening.

AIYA Bureau is an international interior architecture studio with projects across Europe, the UK and the Middle East.

Founded by Aiya Lisova in 2013, the studio focuses on high-end residential interiors, hospitality environments and selected residential development collaborations. The practice combines interior architecture, architectural thinking and art direction, delivering fully managed projects from concept to completion.
