Brooklyn Academy of Music Poster Concept

This is one large poster composed of sixteen 11x17 inch overlapping pages to advertise the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Next Wave Festival. The festival is a visual art, installation, theater, and dance festival so I chose to make it playful like the subject matter. The categories overlap so I used overlapping pages and I printed it on a risograph printer to further the feeling of overlap.

Ana Farnh is a multimedia designer and educator living in the USA in the Washington District of Columbia area. She received her B.F.A. in graphic design and her B.S. in advertising from Boston University. She completed an M.F.A. in Graphic Design at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her work focuses primarily on experiential graphic design with accessibility at its core. She likes to mix and match traditional media with emerging media and incorporate experiences and play into her work.

Ana has won over 40 design awards throughout her career as a designer.
