Christopher Stringer is the Co-Founder & Chief Design Officer at Syng. After his years contributing on all industrial design projects at Apple from 1997-2017, Stringer is now heading up the mission at Syng to build sound for the future with its flagship product, Cell Alpha, and accessories that unlock immersive sound and home theater capabilities. Through his work at Apple as Sir Jony Ive’s first hire, Stringer holds over 1,270 patents, and has worked on the development of some of the most iconic consumer tech products of our time, including PowerBook, iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and Apple Watch among many others. Prior to Apple, Stringer worked as a designer at Ideo, where he helped create Dell’s seminal ’90s design language.
