1991 Graduated from Tokai University Architecture Department 1998 Established atelier cinqu 2006 Renamed acaa Lecturer at Tokai University and Tokyo Designer Gakuin I believe it is essential to draw on vernacular elements for details and design, yet to derive underlying architectural plans from a global perspective unaffected by trends. In particular, I feel it is important to model the ways in which the spatial framework will support peoples movements as they stand and sit in a space. I strive to construct planar structures out of abstract spaces that are not disrupted by functional elements. |
