Shadows uses shadow puppets as a tool for storytelling, communicating, and healing for refugee children suffering from PTSD. With few psychologists to treat the millions of family members living their everyday lives with anxiety, panic attacks, and adjustment disorders, my puppet set helps families work together to play and communicate. These puppets provide whimsical storytelling tools with an array of characters and scenes. Anything can be made into a shadow puppet with a little creativity and light; my design is a starting point to sharing stories, creating magic, and healing.
