Entry Description

After the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, the owners wanted to show their faith and commitment to their home town by refurbishing a house location right on Rockaway Beach. They wanted their vacation home to be casual and inviting, and have plenty of amenities for fun, entertaining and relaxing. We combined the best of classic New England coastal ambiance with a forward-looking eclectic modern flair. We used reclaimed wood from the local boardwalk, and the banisters were handmade from rope and boat pulleys.
