The Cost of A Pet

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) is a government organisation that provides Australians with free and impartial financial guidance and tools via the ASIC MoneySmart website.

We were commissioned to design an infographic that would allow Australians to make a more informed financial decision about pet ownership.

Using data from insurance companies and a pet ownership survey, the true costs of pet ownership, and some engaging complimentary facts, were visualised in a fun, light-hearted way — befitting both the subject matter and consumer audience.

James Armstrong is an award-winning Sydney-based graphic designer with two decades’ experience in graphic design and advertising disciplines. His expertise is branding/visual identity, communications, publication and infographic design. James has won 23 industry awards for creativity.
