Max Mara renews its flagship store in London, located in the prestigious Old Bond Street.
The store, designed by Duccio Grassi architects, is structured on three floors and is distinguished by a fresh and elegant style based on contrasts. The sequence of solid volumes and empty spaces, the ensemble of different materials, the combination of curved and straight lines: everything contributes in giving a unique look to the boutique.
The façade is composed by large metal frames that scan the wide windows and connect inside and outside continuously.
The helicoidal staircase becomes the connecting element in a predominantly grey environment, linking all the three floors with its fluid shape.
The first floors unfolds around a large flat roof turned into garden that allows natural light to permeate, making the whole floor more spacious and elegant.
