Entry Description

The French Agnelle Glove Factory established in Saint Junien in 1937 is the real signature of tradition and luxury today, distributed in the most beautiful shops and department stores all over the world.
It is also a business looking towards the future, under the direction of Mrs Sophie Grégoire.
Agnelle is in the process of developing a new venture with the launch of a range of premium accessories under Agnelle Studio brand name including gloves, belts, and bags made from beautiful lambskin leather.
Marie-Laurence Stévigny is responsible for the creation of this new Agnelle Studio collection.

Bio

Marie-Laurence Stévigny, Belgium based fashion and accessories designer. She is a graduate of the Institut Bischoffsheim in Brussels Belgium, the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne in Paris. She also studied shoe design at Afpic school in Paris and followed courses at Central Sint Martins college of Art and Design in London in 2002.

She has considerable international experience with luxury fashion and lifestyle business working with both US, Chinese and European clients including Nina Ricci design studio in Paris where she created and designed accessories collections from 1990 until 1998. In London she collaborated with famous British leather designer Bill Amberg as senior accessories designer in charge of accessories collections for men, women and children .
In January 2003, Marie left London for Brussels and formed her own international design consultancy Studio (MLSTUDIO) based in Brussels.
The studio services a diverse and global set of clients like Nike (US), Aston Martin (UK), Lacoste (Paris), Agnelle (France), Knomo (London), Bentley (Touring), Knirps (Germany).
The studio is focused on the design principle of producing accessories which are inherently more than just accessories.
