Entry Description

The Weaver+ parametric shoes can be fully 3D printed with recyclable light-weight water-proof TPU, are specially for children.
Studies indicated that younger children require shoes that are flexible enough to allow for movement freedom, but still sturdy enough to offer the required support for stability and balance, therefore not prohibiting proper foot growth.
By using knitting in textiles as structure inspiration, the upper of the shoe will wrap tightly around the foot in the horizontal direction. While vertically the structure is flexible enough for feet to fit in the shoe.
