Entry Description

Nike’s brand and slogan, Just Do It, promotes motivational and inspirational messages to their consumers. As a concept animation for them, I wanted to choose this poem by Walter D. Wintle, narrated by that talks about thinking positively and believing in oneself as the subject for my project, and use it as a campaign for Nike. I wanted to incorporate the Dadaist graphic style, playing with photo collaging, and typography to visualise this poem in a surreal dreamscape environment.

Bio

I'm an interdisciplinary designer, and recent graduate from the Savannah College of Art & Design. With a BFA major in Graphic Design and a minor in Motion media, I enjoy designing for both print and digital platforms— believing that neither is more important than the other, but that both can be integrated to create powerful solutions. I have a very international background and consider myself a third-culture kid, I’ve been exposed to many different cultures, religions and people. I believe this is an important part of my own process in creating human-centred design.
