Entry Description

Banksia is a showcase of a unique and ambitious Australian architectural design. Drawing inspiration from the Australian landscape the tower’s form is inspired by the native Banksia flower. The physical links to water and new infrastructure are key characteristics of Banksia. The design is replicated in the curved structure and its circlet-crown façade, with interiors that respond and reflect the Banksia using Australian timbers. The building’s architectural language has been configured to reflect the column element of architecture, with its base, middle and capital.
