Entry Description

Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), founded by the Vocational Training Council in 2007, is the largest design school in Hong Kong. The objective of this project is to redesign a new signage system to solve the existing way finding problems. Considering the environment of HKDI, our design inspiration comes from the school’s logo, color code and text type. Purple color was adopted not only for matching the school architectural style, but also for reflecting the modern and professional image of the school. The whole design expresses a natural state of calmness and creativeness.
