Entry Description

Tasked with creating a flexible space end-users could
manipulate, hackable rooms and modular furniture laid
the foundation for this collaborative tech hub. Challenged
with a strict budget, our firm utilized the existing
infrastructure and raw aesthetic of the building. Open
space, exposed cross braces, and large rooms
accentuated this paradigm.

The 24,000 square foot space is loosely separated into
two areas. The wooden bar and plush banquette seating
frame the “Diner”. Followed by the “Hackable”
workspace, which houses six rooms that can be
reconfigured into three generous workspaces, an
assortment of tech-supported meeting rooms, multiple
shared offices, phone rooms and collaborative lounges.
Three oversized skylights illuminate these cheerful
collaboration spaces, filled with white boards, and
enclosed by glass partitions. The back-of-office area
features several amenities including shower rooms, and a
wellness room.
