Our design is the winning entry to a closed competition in Oman. Scheduled to commence this year but it is held back due to Covid. It is essentially about learning from nature & environment: The Client wanted shortest walking distances between faculties to minimize circulation areas and energy costs. Our design solution comes from a desert rose found in the area. As in nature, this design provided an optimum distribution and circulation network to connect all faculties and facilities while allowing for good penetration of daylight. Solar energy is capitalized for improved sustainability.
