The architects strived to take the simplest form to create the space. The glass “box” is inset into the stone volume, forming a dual surface. The whole stone block is split and processed to build the entrance and other parts of space. Meanwhile, the glass part is elevated above the stone one, like a floating box in the air. The whole architecture is extended horizontally, which enhances its magnificence whilst establishing a coexisting relationship between the real and virtual.
