Mirror Mountain is located in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. In this project, the connective role of the internal staircase allows the dining space to become more than a “still” area, and able to be utilized as an important “central social hub” within the house, linking the kitchen, the living room, the void and the mezzanine closely together.
The architecture form concave and convex at its boundaries, in order to assist the expansion of its internal spatial depths, and to adjust between private and public spaces.
To live within the house, as if wondering through a windowed mountain.
