Entry Description

Space Hippie is an exploratory footwear collection inspired by life on Mars — where materials are scarce and there is no resupply mission. Created from scraps, or “space junk,” Space Hippie is the result of sustainable practices meeting radical design.

Just like their radical and deviating footwear design, this concept uses bright, bold experimental typography to communicate the head designers’ concept of Space Hippie along with live action footage. While the animation is includes music, the concept is driven by the head designers talking about how Space Hippie came to be.
