Entry Description

The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was started by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1933 and ran until 1942. CCC put 3 million unskilled single men, between the ages of 18 and 25, to work planting trees, building bridges and campgrounds, establishing wildlife preserves, and create more than 700 parks. The proposed Civilian Climate Corps (CCC) Act is part of President Joe Biden's American Jobs Plan to help fight the climate crisis. This branding campaign hopes to promote the Civilian Climate Corps Act to the American public in hopes they will contact their representatives in Congress.
