The project aims to document Egyptian folk songs due to major lack in archiving the folkloric materials. It helps in preserving cultural heritage within an interesting documentation. The interactive sound archive creates an engaging yet entertaining experience between the audience and the songs. Textual information & audio recordings are added on interactive cards to play the songs. The designs visualize the lyrics through Arabic lettering by turning each song to an illustrated piece from its cultural environment. The project includes publications, cards & short documentaries.
