Learning how to make and keep friends is a major theme for children and equally important for children with special needs. I’m Just Like You, but Different illustrates the real-life story of Nathan Ebanks from Jamaica, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was only nine months old. Through the voice of Nathan‘s mother, the book tells a story of his life and sends a message that every child has the right to belong and have meaningful friendships, no matter their abilities. This book of inclusive education is the first of its kind in the Caribbean and is available for purchase on Amazon.
