Located in Chicago’s Hyde Park, Vue53 is a mixed-use development with 267 residential units, amenities, and 28,000 sf of retail. Sited amongst an eclectic and historic collection of existing buildings, Vue53’s glass exterior and rectilinear concrete frame symbolize the reinvigoration of a street once a destination of retail and entertainment. The building mass is divided in two. The smaller south tower sits adjacent to the street, with glassy voids helping to minimize mass, while the larger north tower is significantly set back to maintain scale at street level.
