Cloud Nine is a contemporary restaurant in Hong Kong that combines authentic Southeast Asian flavors with traditional hotpot. Its quaint and cozy environment gives diners a familiar feeling, reminiscent of gathering at an old friend’s home. A nostalgic backdrop of terrazzo tiles and glass bricks sets the stage for contrasting play on colors. Wall feature panels of dried spices and ingredients cast in epoxy are inspired by rattan screens of a bygone generation – a culmination of the owner’s vision of a restaurant that feels and tastes ‘like home’.
