Unity

In 2019, Unity called upon NEUF to expand its office space on four storeys of the Nordelec building. This heritage brick building has now been rehabilitated into a large campus of residential, commercial, and office spaces. Our designers drew inspiration from the local context to inform the organization of the spaces. Circulation is laid out after the manner of Montreal’s alleyways. The steel and concrete structure is left bare, and enhanced by natural light. On the upper floor, a multifunctional area promotes the organizing of events in a setting, which is open to the city.

Founded in Montreal in 1971, NEUF architectes has grown into one of Canada's largest and most diversified architecture and design firms. Our long-lasting client relationships and the commitment of 250 engaged employees has led to the completion of over 10,000 projects serving communities around the globe. NEUF is recognized for delivering exceptional design services across many practice areas, helping build a rich portfolio for emblematic Canadian institutions, major real estate developers, and international leaders in sustainable innovation and new technologies.
