Entry Description

The challenge was to create a sustainable line of outdoor
furniture for Landscape Forms, reducing shipping and
sourcing local materials. The result is MultipliCITY - a
modular aluminum bracket system that allows for full
architectural creativity. The brackets are beautiful and
minimal, creating benches and bench systems, as well as
bike racks, path lights, and waste bins. The surface
materials are then sourced locally, creating as minimal
carbon trace as possible. MultipliCITY also enables
architects to source a number of different materials for
the bracket surfaces, including wood, concrete, or
bamboo. Each unit also has a broad amount of surface
area to maximize usability. Combining functionality and
modularity, MultipliCITY is the best solution for
architects to design sustainable and beautiful outdoor
furniture systems.
