Girlguiding is the UK’s leading charity for girls and young women. The task was to redesign of all 187 of its iconic badges. They needed to be age-appropriate for the four groups: Rainbows (age 5–7), Brownies (7–10), Guides (10–14) and Rangers (14–18).
Members have a very personal bond with their Girlguiding experiences. The physical nature of the woven and metal badges represent cherished memories to be treasured.
It was a rare opportunity to reflect the contemporary nature of the new Girlguiding programme, ensuring that everything was fun, engaging and accessible to #EveryGirl.
