We brief, manage and creatively direct content developers, writers, graphic, lighting sound and software designers, hardware, structural and services engineers, as well as artists, filmmakers and other specialists as necessary. Dinah Casson and Roger Mann formed Casson Mann in 1984 as a design company specialising in interior architecture. Since 1994, the practice has focused primarily on work in museums, designing whole museums, permanent galleries, temporary and touring exhibitions, multimedia installations, masterplans and interpretive strategies for leading institutions across the UK and abroad. We are known for the high quality of our installations and thoughtful design. We create beautiful spaces, in which everything contributes to a singular vision the architecture, fixtures and fittings, the choice of materials and enhancements of light and sound. Visitors find themselves immersed physically and emotionally. They are encouraged to spend time, to explore further, come again. Our projects use the full range of interpretative techniques to inspire visitors from stunning artefact displays to sensitive soundscapes, from digital projections to dressing up. Our interest is in finding the right solution for the client, the story and for the audience we wish to engage. |
