IDA hosted several hundred design, architecture and photography legends and enthusiasts for the opening of L.A. Skies: a photographic exploration of Los Angeles by acclaimed Architectural Digest cover photographer Jim McHugh at the Pacific Design Center's WestWeek design fair.

U.S.C. Architecture Dean Qingyun Ma Nominated as IDA Juror
University of Southern California Dean of Architecture Qingyun Ma has received worldwide critical recognition for his visionary work as principal of the Shanghai-based firm MADA s.p.a.m. He served as a planning expert to the International Olympic Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, and as a member of the conceptual script team for the 2010 Shanghai Exposition.
