1st Annual International Design Awards Winners Announced
(Los Angeles) November 12, 2007 – The first annual International Design Awards (IDA) winners have been announced, kicking off a media campaign promoting these architects and designers of interiors, products, graphics and fashion internationally as visionary leaders in their fields.
Nearly 1,000 professional and student entries were received from 42 countries, the body of which impressive work judges called "exciting," "whimsical," and indicative of thoughtful, visionary and creative solutions to design problems internationally. 110 winners were chosen from among these entries.
Winners' work will be featured on the www.idesignawards.com website, with project descriptions and links to designer websites; spotlighted in the IDA07 art book, to be distributed to museum and art bookstores nationwide; and explored in the week-long IDA Visionary Exhibit taking place at the Museum of Design Art and Architecture in Los Angeles March 8-14, 2008.
