ida Survey of world design 2007 sweeps top graphic design award competitions

The International Design Awards has won three significant design awards: for the IDA Survey of World Design 2007, the graphically compelling art book displaying the winners of IDA 2007 in Architecture, Interior, Graphic, Product and Fashion. The book was designed by the acclaimed San Francisco-based firm Josh Chen Associates, whose clean aesthetic and exceptional palette garnered their commission to design the book initially.

Create Awards 2008

The prize from the Create Awards put the book in Best of Category, placing it above other competition books of its kind: demonstrating the IDA book’s power as both an informational and marketing tool for the designers who entered.

The American Graphic Design Awards prize is awarded for new work in print, advertising, packaging, internet, broadcast and corporate identity. Winning work is included in the Graphic Design USA’s Awards Annual. 

As a winner of the PRINT Regional Design Annual, the IDA Survey of World Design is included in the prestigious PRINT Regional Design Annual.

The International Design Awards mission is to draw attention to the iconoclasm of designers worldwide conceptualizing and producing smart solutions to design problems. It is rare and multidisciplinary by design, striving to align designers internationally with cross-disciplinary inspiration and dialogue. The book is intended to draw deserving attention to its professional and student winners internationally in architecture and the design of interiors, products, graphics and fashion.

Before IDA, founder Hossein Farmani established the Lucie Awards for Photography, which has emerged as one of the world’s most prestigious photography awards.
