While science is sending its best to the poles to diagnose global warming, we're taking the conundrum to those who design the manmade world. IDA is sponsoring the Land & Sea competition to address the pesky carbon footprint, and to celebrate what man can do about it.

Prefab housing. Renewable materials. LEED-certified buildings. Hemp clothing. Smart circulation systems. Ethical waterside development. Bamboo furniture. It's in the right direction. To market your efforts, IDA invites you to enter.

press campaign to over 100,000, with links to winners' websites

inclusion in the IDA Design Directory, with contact information of all IDA winners, and on the IDA website Gallery of Winning Work.
